Expert Guides

Our guides are local to the Bruce Peninsula and deeply connected to the land, water, and communities that make this place special. They share the mission of the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association—to promote commitment to conservation by seamlessly weaving ecological knowledge into fun, guided outdoor adventures. Through our guides' stories and expertise, guests gain a deeper appreciation for the ecological treasures of this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Whether our guests are new outdoor adventurers, new to Canada, or seasoned pros, our guides will offer you an experience that is welcoming, informative, and unforgettable—balancing safety, discovery, and respect for the natural world every step of the way.

Caeli Mazara

Caeli is a guide originally from Toronto, where she led historical tours of Old Toronto by Segway. She moved to the Peninsula to pursue her dream of becoming a forest guide and beekeeper, and has worked with EcoAdventures since 2020 as a guide and digital marketer. She helped develop the EcoAdventures escape rooms as a lover of puzzles and mysteries. She runs the international food blog woodenspoonwanderer.com and in the warmer months, she leads beekeeping experiences at her Lion's Head apiary. Caeli has her Remote First Aid certification.

Beige McIntosh

Beige is Nogojiwanong (Peterborough, Ontario) where she taught outdoor skills to forest school students for nearly ten years. She has a deep connection to nature—both its gentleness and intensity—which she enjoys sharing with others. Beige has studied western herbalism and loves foraging for and creating herbal medicines from the land. She also leads a local choir called Sweetwater Harmony, which brings uplifting, nature-based songs to the community. When she’s not guiding outdoor experiences, she can be found in her vegetable garden, hiking with her dogs, or swimming in Georgian Bay.
